We still can’t have a shower at home…

… but the prospect is a lot closer than it was when we moved in two weeks ago.

The bathroom is now tiled, the bath is fitted, and we painted it on Wednesday and Thursday this week. It now needs the plumber and electrician to come back to do the final fixings.

 

It really has changed quite a lot – this shows it last year after we had stripped the panelling off the walls:

It doesn’t look much like a bathroom here!

Hopefully the final plumbing and electrical fittings will go in this coming week, though it may be longer until we have the glass screen to separate the room in to wet & ‘dry’ areas.
